H-Women -- this

politics. This site includes a variety of interest areas such as history, religion, literary criticism, and the performing arts.
"H-Net Reviews" in the Humanities and Social Sciences is an online scholarly
review journal. H-Net is also an edited electronic discussion group for historians, teachers,
archivists, and others interested in women's history.

Medieval Feminist Index: Scholarship on Women, Sexuality and Gender
-- A searchable index for journal articles, book reviews and essays in

Sophia Smith Collection - Smith College Library
-- Primary source materials documenting
the historical experience of women in the United States and abroad
from the colonial era to the present. Subject strengths include birth
control, women's rights, suffrage, the contemporary women's
movement, U.S. women working abroad, the arts (especially
theatre), the professions (especially journalism and social work), and
middle-class family life in nineteenth- and twentieth-century New
England. Many of these collections are rich sources of visual, as well
as manuscript and printed material.
Southeast Asia Women -- Bibliography covering Southeastern Asia, which
can be searched by area or country. Reflects materials held at UC
Berkeley, but materials could be accessed either through our library or
through Inter-Library Loan.

Feminist Jurisprudence -- Contains the full-text of the U.S. Constitution and amendments related to women and civil rights.

struggles around the world. Contains several bibliographies in english, french and spanish languages.
Feminist Theory, University of Iowa -- A comprehensive Web page including
articles and Web sites addressing a variety of topics in feminist theory.
National Women's History Project -- An extensive chronology of important events on the route to women's equity. This site was established for the 150th
Anniversary of the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 and includes
excellent "favorite sites" on women's history, organizations and contemporary movement resources.
Suffragists Oral History Project --
University of California Berkeley Bancroft Library, Regional Oral History Office features full-length oral histories of seven major figures in twentieth-century
suffragist history. The site also includes the contents of the University of California Black Alumni Series
Collection.

Fourth World Conference on Women (WCW) -- A resource page which lists networks,
mailing lists, and WWW sites relating to the WCW and NGO (non-governmental organization)
forums. Includes several useful United Nations sites.
Beijing: Voices of Global Women -- Site provides information on the radio series
"Leading to Beijing: Voices of Global Women", including bibliographies of women leaders, biographical profiles

Global Gender Agenda and the United Nations -- a UN site
that describes what the United Nations has done for the equal treatment of women.
It also lists committees within the UN responsible for supporting women's
rights. The United Nations Charter was the first global treaty which called for equality between women and men.

and networks organizing on issues affecting women throughout the world.

Coalition Against Trafficking in Women --
this group brings international attention to all forms of sexual exploitation, including prostitution, pornography, sex tourism, and bride trafficking.
This group spearheaded the creation of a new United Nation Convention Against Sexual Exploitation and now seeks governmental and non-governmental endorsement for
establishing it as international legislation.

and women of colour that has formed within the existing Women's Research Centre. The Centre produces publications on community building.

Project of Sydney Australia serves to educate and work against hate crimes.
Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan -- Good sites
which document and discuss "comfort women", sexual slavery and violence within the military.
The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) dedicated to the empowerment
of battered women and their children and to the elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of women and their children. Internet links
include advocate pages for battered lesbians, immigrants as well as links on domestic violence prevention and support to victims of incest.
