Protokelle der Deutschen Bundersversammlung. German Confederation, 1815-1866. Bundesversammlung. Washington, D.C.: Microcard Editions, 1964.
The German Confederation, established by the Congress of Vienna in 1815, was made up of 38 loosely joined German states and was the precursor to the United Germany. The Confederation disappeared during the 1866 war between Prussia and Germany, and was replaced by Bismarck's North German Confederation. The Protokolle are the proceedings of the Bundesversammlung, or Federal Diet, a quasi-legislative body having little real power. This set reproduces these proceedings and includes materials considered secret at the time of original publication.
No session was held in 1849.
