This annotated bibliography was developed by Daphne Jorgensen as a resource Submissions of annotations are welcome, as are suggestions for their use in a library or classroom setting. Much is made of authority in evaluating websites. Accordingly, the following information is provided for evaluative purposes. Dr. Millicent Lenz is an associate professor at SUNY Albany's School of Information Science and Policy, where she teaches Literature for Children, Literature for Young Adults, and the History of Children's Literature. More information about Professor Lenz can be found in her faculty bio. Daphne Jorgensen is currently a graduate student at SUNY Albany's School of Information Science and Policy, where she will complete her Masters in Library Science degree, school media specialization. She is also a practicing librarian, and lover of children's and young adult literature. While living in the Dominican Republic, she was the school librarian for an American K-12 school. She recently began course work for her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, SUNY Albany's School of Education (ETAP).
