Dear Chinese Students, Scholars and CSSA friends,
Thank you for your every support to our Chinese Students and Scholars Association. We appreciate all your effort, making our association a lovely community for every Chinese student and scholar. As every year before, it is time to arrange airport pick-up and temporary accommodation for coming students. Almost all of us still vividly remember the help we got from senior students during the first days we set foot on Albany. We sincerely appreciate their help - it was them making us feeling at home in the United State!
Now, it is time to thank those helped us. We are recruiting volunteers to pick up coming students and volunteers who have spare room to provide temporary accommodation. To cover some of your expense, and as a kind of "thank you" from new students, they will give you $5 for the airport pick-up and $10 per day per person for temporary stay. We encourage everybody of you who have cars and have some free time in August to contact us. We will provide you time table of arriving students, and you can choose convenient time to help them. Also, we highly appreciate if you can provide temporary accommodation for new students.

你们好！我们中国学生会感谢你们长期以来的一贯热心支持！现在又到了每年新生加入我们大家庭的时候了。相信大家都记得当初我们第一次到达Albany的情景，很多同学都得到了来自高年级同学的热心帮助，才得以顺利地在这个异国他乡安顿下来。我们真心希望这个温馨的传统能够延续下去，给予新来的同学最实际的帮助。
由于学生会的人力物力有限，现在我们诚挚地求助所有有条件的、热心的同学和友人，为即将到来的新生提供接机和临时住宿。如果您有汽车，并且在8月中旬左右有一定的空闲时间，我们恳切地希望您能联系我们。我们会给您提供新生的一些信息，让你们选择接机的时间和人员。如果您有可供新生暂住的地方，也请您联系我们，我们会安排您希望的同学到您那里去暂住。我们相信，您的热心将给新生们带来莫大的帮助，将会给他们到达美国后最初的日子带来难以忘怀的温暖！
按往年惯例，为了表示对向新生提供帮助的同学的感谢，新生将向提供临时住宿的同学支付每人每天10美元的费用(包含水电费等)。也许这个费用并不多，但希望能作为对你们热心帮助的一点补偿和谢意。我们也希望新生在离开临时住宿前能自觉地与为你们提供临时住宿的同学结算费用。学生会不参与费用转交。
