Create a webpage that will contain links to the two pages you will create below, this page should contain appropriate labels and formatting.

1st Digital Matrix

Create a table (digital matrix) that organizes 6 self-portrait images that have been altered in Photoshop. You can use the same original self-portrait. Each self-portrait must have unique effects or features produced in Photoshop . Utilize at least 6 different effects and explore others as well.

Organize all 6 images in a fixed table with the dimension 640 x 480 or 800 x 600. The file size for all images must be consistent, based on the fixed table dimension. The entire table (and images) must fit on the page without major scrolling (left, right, top, or bottom) and without images that appear too large.

The images must be original. You can alter the same photo or digital image 6 times, or work with different images. Name this file 'digital1.html' place in your IST361 folder on itsunix.

2nd Digital Matrix

Create a table (digital matrix) that organizes 6 scene images that have been altered in Photoshop. Each scene image must be unique and feature different Photoshop effects. Utilize at least 6 different effects and explore others as well. You can use some of the effects from the 1st Digital Matrix but you must have at least 6 new effects.

Organize all 6 images in a fixed table with the dimension 640 x 480 or 800 x 600. The file size for all images must be consistent, based on the fixed table dimension. The entire table (and images) must fit on the page without major scrolling (left, right, top, or bottom) and without images that appear too large.

Create an 'image' folder under public_html/ist361 and place all gif or jpeg files there.

Requirements for this web page:

  1. linked(import) Style sheet
    • Body selector and at least 4 different declarations
    • At least two other tags/styles with different declarations.
  2. Table for layout to organize the graphics.

Requirements for all web pages developed in this class:

  1. XML declaration with iso-8859-1 encoding
  2. DTD for XHTML Transitional 1.0
  3. Namespace convention for XHTML
  4. Title tag with your name and the word "draft".
  5. Meta tags for author, keywords, description, character set with iso-8859-1 encoding, and generator
  6. Page authored by with your name and your email address (as a clickable mailto link)
  7. Date and Time the file was saved using a javascript code provided in template.
  8. XHTML and CSS validation icons
  9. Disclaimer at the bottom of the page that reads something to the effect: This web page is an assignment in the course IST361: Web Development in the College of Computing and Information at the University at Albany.
