Reverse Algorithm Analysis

This analytic method uses a reverse methodology on the backcasted NAICS codes to assign SIC codes to the historical employer universe. These assigned SIC codes will then be compared to the original correct SIC code. We expect to gain insight into the extent and nature of the firms that are incorrectly classified by the backcasting algorithm.
