One approach to analyzing the results of the process is to perform repeated applications of the "backcasting" algorithm. The goal here is to test the stability of the algorithm. This will allow us to see if vastly different results can result from different applications of the same process. The results of the multiple iterations can be used to determine approximate margins of error at various levels of reporting detail.
