Call
for Presentations
The
Albany Chapter of the ASA and The School of Public Health at The University
at Albany are interested in receiving abstracts (200 words max.) of presentations
related to the theme of the next local
conference.
Abstracts
are invited from practitioners in government and industry as well as academics.
Presentations are especially welcome in the areas of health, health statistics,
public health computational statistics, data mining, industrial process
control, problems in government, and teaching statistics.

American Statistical Association is a professional, nationwide, scientific
and educational organization whose objective is to foster the use and application
of statistics in all fields of human endeavor. Its membership is not confined
to professional statisticians but includes economists, business executives,
research analysts, government officials, university professors and others
interested in the application of statistical methods to practical problems,
in the improvement of basic statistical data and the development of more
useful methods. |
