sam The UAlbany Rugby Club exists to promote the sport and culture of rugby football in the UAlbany community. We are one of the largest sport's clubs on the UAlbany's campus. We provide students with an opportunity to learn and excel in an extremely fast-paced and physical sport. Currently we are searching for students with an athletic background to help bring us to the upper tier of USA Rugby.

Rugby requires athletes of all sizes, SIZE AND EXPERIENCE ARE NOT REQUIRED. The majority of our players did not play rugby until they got to Albany. Our players have backgrounds ranging from baseball to soccer to football. We only ask that you work hard, strive to learn the game,and have fun!

We play and inter=collegiatte schedule in which we travel via bus to all our non-local games. We have 3 USA Rugby Certified coaches to teach you the game.We practice every Mon, Wed + Thurs, 4:30PM-6:00PM, on the rugby field located next to the Dutch Quad Basketball/Tennis Courts.
