What we are about
The University at Albany's Rugby Alumni organized to support the school’s team, socialize and play some rugby. We have been around since 1974 and are as strong as ever. Over 600 students have played for the club. Check out the members page for a list. Rugby alumni can be kept up to date by joining the Albany Insider eletter. The Insider emails timely game recaps and alumni news. We also have been adding to the archives with game recaps from 2000 through the present. The alumni team, The Purple Haze, gets together to play in a tournament or two and is co-host of the Saratoga Invitational Rugby Tournament held each August in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Friday 7:00pm - Reception, Hall of Fame induction + A.G.M. Maggies Sports Bar and Cafe, 1186 Western Ave -just east of Sutter's
Meet up for food and beers. We will conduct some business and have a great time hannging
out with old friends.

Come join in on the fun and help us support fellow Purple Haze player Mike "Jonesy" Jones. Lodging,camping and barbecue
to be held at Dippikill. Good family fun- torunament is in the heart of Saratoga Springs, NY.
Walking distance to shopping + food. Small playground at the fields for the young ones.
