About Our Office
2009-2010 Director : Leslie Mortland
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Concerns (LGBTC) office was established in 1995. In 2006 the LGBT Concerns Office was combined with the Women's Issues Office to form the Gender & Sexuality Concerns Office. Today, the Gender & Sexuality Concerns Office works to make the University At Albany a safe space for those of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Through our programs and events we hope to educate and empower the University at Albany student population around LGBT and Women's issues in order to bring about change and equality to our campus community.
Above all else we are here to give support to anyone and everyone who needs it. So please, feel free to stop by anytime. We are located in Campus Center 116 of the University at Albany Uptown campus.
