Many wonder if Nick Chiuchiolo ever sleeps.

Chiuchiolo spent his undergraduate years at UAlbany serving as an energetic advocate for students, working to improve student activities and campus life. A political science major and business minor from Blue Point, N.Y., his name was synonymous with student government. As president of the Student Association, he oversaw a $2 million budget for student groups, events, and services.

He also served as chief executive officer of Dippikill Wilderness Retreat, UAlbany's 850-acre camp and nature preserve in the Adirondacks, was president of the Class of 2007 and vice president of the University Auxiliary Services Board of Directors.

The future law school student hit the books, too, and was eventually honored by the State University of New York with a Chancellor's Award, which demands a minimum 3.78 grade point average. His membership in academic honor societies included the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, the Presidential Honors Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha (political science).

From athletic events to University concerts and comedy shows, Chiuchiolo truly took advantage of all UAlbany had to offer. He found motivation by surrounding himself with highly driven people, including peers, family, and professionals. He took time for fun too, playing golf, and vacationing by the water.

Following in his older sister's footsteps, Chiuchiolo plans on a public service career after practicing law.
