Information Technology Management (ITM) Department Ranked #59 in the World for Research

Over 100 teams from 25 colleges and universities across New York State competed for more than $150,000 in cash and in-kind prizes to a judging panel of over 30 regional and national venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, other sophisticated private and public investors, and seasoned entrepreneurs on April 26, 2012.

The 2013 New York State Business Plan Competition will be held April 26, 2013. The 2013 competition will expand to feature the 10 major regions of NY (Capital Region, Central New York, North Country, Mohawk Valley, Finger Lakes, Western New York, Southern Tier, Mid-Hudson, New York City, and Long Island) and a selected champion university, to host a semi-final competition in each of these regions (or a combination of the regions) in early April 2013. The top teams from each of the regional zones will then be invited to the state competition where the teams will go head-to-head for the grand prize in late April 2013.
