For 15 consecutive years, the N.Y. Giants have called UAlbany home for the team's summer training camp. Even if you aren't one of the thousands to descend on the UAlbany campus for camp, we make sure you catch a glimpse of the action with our Facebook photo gallery. One of our more popular Facebook galleries, it garnered nearly 1,300 views on the day it was posted!

What's more exciting than heading back to school? We shared in students' excitement by counting down to the first day of classes with back to school tips and advice. UAlbany cares ... and it shows. University students rallied behind the Capital Region family of six-year-old Hannah Sames to raise awareness and funding for Giant Axonal Neuropathy therapies. UAlbany took to social media to spread the word about the family's involvement in the Pepsi Refresh contest for funding ... But did she win the $250,000 prize? (Hint: Click the link to find out!)

There was entertainment and enlightenment for everyone at UAlbany's Fall Fest & Book Fair .. and we wanted everyone to know about it! We counted down the days to the big event and others joined the fun! But we didn't stop there. We posted videos of alumni authors and student performances, among others, and held a pumpkin painting contest for student groups and individuals prior to the event. We also posted a Facebook photo gallery of the event itself!

There was no evening gown competition in this pageant ... just fun with paint and Facebook! Student groups and individuals vied for creative bragging rights and prizes during the first annual Painted Pumpkin Pageant contest, held in conjunction with UAlbany's Fall Fest & Book Fair. Everyone loves Fall at UAlbany. We captured the scene on campus as the colors begin to change with a Facebook photo gallery ... Which photo is your favorite?

We are so proud of all veterans -- including those from our UAlbany community -- who fight for our freedom everyday. We honored them with a moving Facebook photo gallery to show our appreciation for their sacrifice to our country. More than 50 veterans submitted photos to include in the visual tribute. Do you know any of these UAlbany veterans?

The season's first snowfall is pretty. But the 12th? Maybe not so much. And this winter, we had a lot of the white stuff ... We posted a photo gallery on Facebook of the campus blanketed with winter snow.

Our social media efforts highlighted Black History Month, a time to reflect on our shared history. During February, we posted and tweeted moments from UAlbany's past, including famous black speakers like Toni Morrison and Colin Powell, inspiring alumni like Oliver Robinson and William Thomas, and pivotal leaders like the University's first black president ... We took to Twitter for our "Contest for Clinton Tickets!" Students, alumni, faculty and staff flocked to see former President Bill Clinton at UAlbany for the World Within Reach Speaker Series. Tickets were hard to come by, but we managed to get our paws on two more .. just for you! Did you see the former President?

... to spin the Spirit Wheel! How much do you know about the Campus Center? Hopefully, you know a lot, especially after our Facebook trivia contest to celebrate the re-opening of the Campus Center at the beginning of the spring semester. In advance of this year's UAlbany Relay for Life, we asked the UAlbany community to submit photos of cancer survivors, caregivers and those loved ones we've lost. More than 50 students, alumni and faculty/staff obliged, and their photos make up our tribute Facebook photo gallery, Wall of Strength & Memories. These are the faces of strength, courage and most of all ... hope.

After all the snow and cold, we thought it would never come. But finally, it did! Spring! We posted a Facebook photo gallery to illustrate what the campus looks like ... when the sun is out!
