This will be a live staging of an original 1940s radio drama, featuring some of the show's original creators of sound effects and some of the original radio actors. For many years, radio station WGY in Schenectady, New York, broadcast the locally-written and produced radio program, "The FBI in Action." In this "golden age of radio" WGY was one of the premier radio stations in the United States. Working with one of the original scripts, members of the original cast, and students from the UAlbany Theatre Department, the UAlbany History Department will present a production of an episode of the show, complete with sound effects created by two women who originally provided them in the 1940s.
