Where is she now?
Pursuing the Ph.D. in Gender Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington.  Her dissertation project “Gender, Violence, Nationalism: India’s Independence Struggle 1919-1939” examines the interwar period to furnish an account and analysis of the gendered role of violence during India’s nationalist struggle.

What can you do with a degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies?
As with any liberal arts degree, a Women’s Studies degree also prepares individuals to thrive in professional settings. The skills gained specifically with a certification in WSS equip students with a feminist perspective on life, and a goal where we all strive towards social justice.
