For many women, a significant barrier to obtaining comprehensive reproductive health services is getting to the location where the needed services are provided. We are pleased to collaborate with health and human service organizations in Columbia and Greene Counties to assist them in overcoming this barrier. We provide a convenient location for designated health and human service community organizations to provide information and services in close proximity to the residents of the community.
At this point, we have two well-established outreach services, and we are in the planning stages of adding other outreach services. The two currently available services are described below.
Drop-in Tuesdays with UHPP
Information, safe-sex supplies, and clinical appointment sign-up are provided by Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood at the Women's Health Project office in Bliss Towers. Call 708-9775 for dates and hours.
Testing Services by the AIDS Council
Free, confidential HIV testing and STD/hepatitis C screenings are provided monthly by the AIDS Council at the Women's Health Project office in Bliss Towers. Call 708-9775 for dates and hours.
