Payment/E-Bill Profiles

Manage Your Finances Online

Log onto MyUAlbany and:

  • Visit the Finances Tab
    To see current account and financial aid information and important announcements.
  • Authorize use of your Financial Aid to Pay Other Charges
    Receive Financial Aid (including loans)? Your financial aid cannot cover some charges such as: SUNYCard Replacement and Health Center charges without your authorization. Visit the Finances tab on MyUAlbany, click on the link “Authorize Use of…,” and follow the steps.

E-Pay Your Way! Log onto epay.albany.edu and:

  • Set Up an E-Refund Account
    Expecting a refund? Why wait for a check to arrive by mail when you can receive it faster electronically? Select "My Profiles > Payment Profiles" and follow the easy steps. 
  • Set Up an Authorized User
    Will someone assist in paying your account? Give them Authorized User access to view and pay your E-Bill. They can also receive automatic email and text reminders when new E-Bills are issued and set up E-Payment Plans. Choose the “Authorized User” tab.
  • Set Up Text Alerts
    Receive text message reminders when your new E-Bill is issued. Sign up under “My Profiles > Personal Profiles.”
  • Retrieve E-Bills (on or after July 20)
    Paper bills are NOT sent. E-Bills are issued on/or about the 20th of each month, and payment is due on the 15th of the following month. If registered prior to July 20th, you will receive your E-bill on/or about July 20th. Email notification will be sent to your UAlbany email account when your E-Bill is ready to be viewed.
  • Save Time! Pay Online!
    Select “Payments” tab to pay your E-Bill. MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and checking and savings accounts are accepted. Do not pay anything except the Orientation Fee and Housing Deposit until you receive your first E-Bill.
  • Enroll in the E-Payment Plan
    Need more time to pay your invoice? Enroll in the 4-installment payment plan. Fall installments are due 8/15, 9/15, 10/15, and 11/15; $45 non-refundable application fee applies.
  • Attending Orientation?
    Bring your Mobile Device to the Student Financials Presentation.

Dropping Courses? Below 12 Credits? View Tuition Liability Dates.

Note: Direct expenses are paid to the University. Indirect expenses are additional costs such as books and transportation associated with attending the University. Indirect expenses are included in the cost of attendance in determining your financial aid eligibility.
