Classics Collection
The Classics section arrived as a unit and was incorporated into the VRL’s collection, however its original order has been retained. The slides were pre-numbered upon their arrival; each slide has a unique alpha-numeral, the first number of which refers to one of the sixty-five unique categories into which the Classics slides are organized. Additionally, the slides arrived with five catalogues that outline the content of each slide individually (these are in five binders located on top of the slide cabinets for this collection). The organization is roughly by culture or civilization and then by medium. Please see the catalogue binders for more information.
