Loss of Borrowing Privileges
Slides
University Faculty and Art Department Graduate Students may check out slides for one week. Only one carousel of slides may be checked out at once.
Undergraduate Art Students may check out slides for class presentations on the day of the presentation to be returned the same day. Please see the Visual Resources Curator for special circumstances.

Art Department Faculty and Graduate Students may check out slide carousels for one week.
Undergraduate Art Students may check out slide carousels for class presentations on the day of the presentation to be returned the same day. Please see the Visual Resources Curator for special circumstances.
Projectors
Art Department Faculty and Graduate Students may check out projectors to be returned the same day or no later than 24 hours. Please see the Visual Resources Curator for special circumstances.
Faculty and Staff from all other departments may contact A/V for equipment (2-3647).
Periodicals
To obtain a back-issue of a periodical, please complete a check-out form at the front desk.
Periodicals do not leave the VRL, but if you must photocopy an article, you must complete a check-out form and leave your SUNY identification card at the front desk. The periodical must be returned within 30 minutes.
Reference Materials
The VRL offers a variety of general reference and art-related reference books, including textbooks. These materials do not leave the VRL.
The VRL also maintains materials about academic art programs which may be browsed in the library. Certain items, such as fill-in information forms and older materials, may be taken with the permission of the Visual Resources Curator.
MFA Theses
The VRL maintains the University at Albany Master of Fine Arts Graduate thesis statements and accompanying materials such as slides and CDs.
These do not leave the VRL, but if you must photocopy a thesis, you must complete a check-out form and leave your SUNY identification card at the front desk. The thesis must be returned within 30 minutes.
Loss of Borrowing Privileges
Please return borrowed items in a timely fashion. VRL users who have overdue or lost items will be blocked from further borrowing.
