What is UUP?
United University Professions (UUP) is the union representing more than 35,000 faculty and professionals on 29 state-operated SUNY campuses and System Administration. UUP is affiliated with the New York State United Teachers and the American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO. With some 800 job titles included in the bargaining unit, UUP reflects the diversity of the State University. Members include:

How to join UUP?
To be eligible to join UUP, one must be an employee of the State University of New York and belong to the Professional Services Negotiation Unit (PSNU, also called the 08 Bargaining Unit).
