
Dr. Nabeel Khoury, Ph.D.
Dr. Nabeel Khoury, Ph.D. ’76, an American of Lebanese descent currently in the Foreign Service, made a visit to the University’s Rockefeller College and Center for Legislative Development (CLD) on Feb. 19.
Khoury, third from left in the photo, is about to begin a new assignment as U.S. Consul General in Casablanca, Morocco.
Khoury, who received a doctorate in political science from Albany, has had a well-traveled foreign service career that has included positions in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt (Alexandria), and Rabat, primarily as a press or cultural attaché. After finishing a 9-month executive seminar put on for diplomats of his status in Washington, he begins his new assignment in Morocco.
