Distinquished Criminologist

John Laub, a faculty member of the college of criminal justice at Northeastern University, received the School of Criminal Justice's Distinguished Alumnus Award at the Recognition Dinner of the Rockefeller College on Monday, Nov. 10.

Laub, now a nationally reknowned criminologist, has written seven books, 30 articles, and a host of other papers in his field. He also specializes in the development of criminal behavior during the life-course of individuals, similar to the research now being conducted by the Rochester Youth Development Institute.
