Dean's List

In their first semester of study, in order to qualify for this distinction, students at the University at Albany must earn a grade point average of 3.25 or higher; students in subsequent semesters of study must earn a grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Additionally, to qualify for the Dean’s list each of these students must complete a minimum of 12 graduation credits in courses graded A-E with no grade lower than a C, and no incomplete (I) grades.

The University at Albany Dean’s Commendation for Part-Time Students adheres to the same stringent requirements as the Dean’s List, except that it allows for students to complete a minimum of 6 credits.
