Undergraduate Research Opportunities in Addiction

Addictive Behaviors Lab

Lab Website

Our lab focuses on both the basic and applied investigation of addictive behaviors, particularly in the area of pathological gambling because this disorder allows us to study addiction in its "purest" form, i.e. without the confounding effects of substances.

Center for Addictions Research

Lab Website

The Center for Addictions Research provides a platform for faculty and students to conduct academic and practice research in the field of alcohol, drug as well as other forms of addictions. The Center enhances the capacity of the School of Social Welfare for developing privately and publically funded programs that advance knowledge and improve service through partnerships among universities, government agencies, research institutions, and community providers.
