UHS Teacher/High School Stipends

The Stipend Information Form must be submitted each year in order to be eligible to receive a stipend. Information regarding the completion of the stipend form (including the necessary password for accessing the form) will be sent via e-mail during the first week of March.  Stipend Information Forms must be submitted with a postmark date on or before the deadline of April 21, 2017.

The Stipend Information Form must be TYPED.  Incomplete or handwritten forms (other than the instructor's signature) will not be accepted. Instructors will be required to resubmit a corrected form to the UHS Office by the published deadline of April 21, 2017. Forms can be mailed, faxed to the UHS Office at (518) 442-4135, or emailed to uhs@albany.edu.

It is the instructor's responsibility to check with her/his high school principal (before submission of the form) regarding any restrictions that might apply to receiving personal stipend compensation.

Stipend Information Forms received with a postmark date after April 21, 2017 will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made. Stipends will be issued by the State of New York by late August.

Stipends are paid yearly to UHS instructors in recognition of the obligations that come with offering a UHS course to students (checking rosters, submitting grades online, etc.).  A breakdown of stipend amounts can be found in the UHS Policy and Procedure Manual.
