The Carla Rizzo Delray ’42 Endowed Professorship
A generous bequest by Carla Rizzo Delray ’42 established The Carla Rizzo Delray ’42 Endowed Professorship, which may be used to supplement the work, research, and/or teaching of an individual faculty member within the physical and/or natural sciences. During her years at the New York State College for Teachers, Carla Delray was something of a Renaissance woman, majoring in French, Spanish and Mathematics and minoring in History. She credited her education with preparing her for successive careers in the securities industry, financial analysis and artificial intelligence.

The Ray Falconer Endowed Chair
A generous bequest by Gertrude S. Thompson established The Ray Falconer Endowed Chair within the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center. And, if the income permits, to provide educational programs, lectures and research in atmospheric sciences. Mrs. Thompson was an environmentalist with interest in meteorology and related weather phenomena. It was through these interests that she met Mr. Falconer at the ASCR Whiteface Mountain Field Station in the late 1970’s where she attended his lectures.
