Center for Innovation in Career Development
CICD will be closing on June 30, 2008. We would like to thank all the members of our community who have supported our mission over the years. We wish you the best as you continue on your path of professional development.
The Center for Innovation in Career Development (CICD) is affiliated with the University at Albany's School of Education. For more than three decades CICD, formerly the Two-Year College Development Center, pursued research and development activities to support education, staff development and career opportunities for learners of all ages.
Center activities focused on resources and programs to enhance career development, with an emphasis on opportunities for women and minorities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Specific projects sought to encourage student interest in high tech careers through utilization of various local resources.
