A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

This transfer agreement is the result of thoughtful cooperation among the faculty and staff of the University at Albany, State University of New York and Herkimer County Community College. We have updated this transfer agreement because we strongly believe that many students in a two-year program of study will benefit from the information and guidance this agreement offers.

Many academic programs at Herkimer County Community College provide strong preparation for and ready access to baccalaureate programs at the University at Albany. We have designed the agreement to identify programs and patterns of study which will maximize the transfer of credit toward specific academic programs. The University at Albany is delighted to continue our long-standing, close relationship with Herkimer County Community College with this revised transfer agreement. We are proud to offer each student the opportunity to earn both an associate degree and baccalaureate degree within the State University of New York system.
