How to Submit an Event
To submit an event for posting on the Today@UAlbany Events Calendar:

Go to the
Events Calendar |

From the Calendar
dropdown menu on the upper right select the calendar
on which you would like your event to be listed.*
Click the "Go" button. Please only submit to calendars that are appropriate to your event. |

If the bright gold "Add Event" button appears on the right-hand side of the screen, above the Date & User bar, you can add events to the selected calendar. Click the "Add Event" button. (If the button does not appear please contact the appropriate Calendar Manager to add an event.) |

Fill out the form following style guidelines: |

In the Event Title, Description and Cost fields do not use all capital letters |

In the Telephone Number field include area code in the format, (518) 442-1234 (with a space between the area code and number) |

In the Web site field include "http://" before the web address so that the text will become a link on the calendar |

5. |
Click the "Submit Event" button |
You will receive an e-mail when the calendar manager has approved and posted your event. Please allow 24 to 36 hours for posting if submission is late afternoon, weekends or during a holiday period.
If you do not see your event within the time frame or need to change information about your event after it has been submitted, please contact the appropriate Calendar Manager.
*Note: If you are a Calendar Manager you should log in prior to adding an event so that the event will be approved and posted automatically to your calendar.
