Reporting Sexual Misconduct

The University at Albany wants victim/survivors to get the information and support that they need regardless of whether they would like to move forward with a report of sexual violence to campus officials or to police. A person may want to talk with someone about something they have observed or experienced, even if they are not sure that the behavior constitutes sexual violence. A conversation where questions can be answered is far superior to keeping something to one’s self.  Confidentiality varies, as such it is important for victim/survivors to be aware of who they can speak with in confidence and which members of our community are required to report disclosures of sexual misconduct.

• Confidential Disclosures of Sexual Misconduct
• Non-Confidential Reporting
