For Students

The confidential advocates at the Advocacy Center for Sexual Violence are available to assist student victim/survivors in the aftermath of sexual misconduct. They are available to listen, to answer questions, and to help a victim/survivor decide how to proceed. The advocates are also available to accompany student victim/survivors to the hospital and to any offices where a victim may choose to make a report, such as the Police, Community Standards, Human Resources, or the Office of the Title IX Coordinator. The Advocacy Center for Sexual Violence is located in Suite 009 of the basement of Seneca Hall, Indian Quad. The advocates can be reached at 518-442-CARE.

Advocates with the Empoyee Asistance Program are available to assist employees who have experienced sexual misconduct. For more information about EAP, please visit their website at http://www.albany.edu/eap.

Albany County Crime Victim’s and Sexual Violence Center offers advocacy 24 hours a day. Like the Advocacy Center, advocates there are available to listen, to answer questions, and to help a victim/survivor decide how to proceed.
