• James Fox—Spent the summer at Montpelier University
3 and translated Ionesco’s Les Connaissez-Vous?
(Do You Know Them?) from French into
English. Also has been writing a bi-lingual
one-act.
• Bandar Albuliwi has had a one-act play (Side
by Side) selected by the American Theatre of
Actors for production. Bandar had worked on
this play in James Farrell’s class. This is
his second play this semester being produced
in NYC. He also was cast in a VH-1 original

here. Bandar Albuliwi was cast for the lead
in Back to the Throat, a production
of the Bats Theatre Company. Jim Simpson (Sigourney
Weaver’s husband) directs the play. Regarding
Bandar’s role a Times Reviewer stated: “The
character of Asfoor (Arab Terrorist) was played
so believably I had to actually shut my eyes
from fear during his final disturbing monologue
(in which he addresses the audience).”
• Darlene McCullough received a president’s
Award for Leadership, specifically for “significant
contributions to the quality of student life
on campus.”
• Kadie Ertel is a Design Assistant for Janet
Sussman in Play by Play.
• Justin Tracy directed play Jews and Christians
in the End Zone.

Stephen Adly Guirgis, at Stageworks Theatre
in Hudson is directed by Danielle Skraastad,
who graduated in 1996. Mike Rosenthal is acting
in the production.
• Nahal Navidar has been assisting Gretchen
Michelfeld in producing The Directors Fest at
the Drama League in New York City.
• Aaron Enfield designed a student production
of A Christmas Carol, a student tour to area
high schools. He is also an intern in the Capital
Repertory Theatre costume shop.
• Christopher Rickett, now AEA, had a starring
role in Stageworks’ production of The Illusion.
• Rachel Kroner has moved to LA and been cast
as Miss Morris in The Seven Year Itch
with the Conejo Players.
