You can apply for admission to an Albany  study abroad program on-line at a link that appears below.

The on-line application is easy to do and only takes a few moments. Please note that some parts of your application cannot be done on-line. We need to receive some parts of the application using the paper forms that you can download HERE.

A complete application has four or five parts:

*  The basic application [can be completed on line]

*  A study statement [needs a signature]

*  Two letters of recommendation [both need signatures]

*  A transcript [your college/university sends it]

*  A foreign language proficiency statement (but only if the program you are applying to is in a country where English is not the principle language).

We cannot make a decision about your application for admission until all parts are completed and in your file. If you are not a University at Albany student, we suggest that you to contact your campus' office of study abroad to learn about your institution's specific policies regarding external study abroad programs.

After you have started your application, you may return to this site as often as you wish to update the information.  To insure your privacy, we ask that each time you access your application, you use your unique username and password.

If you have inquired about an Albany Study Abroad program using the "Contact Us" area of our HomePage, you should have received a username (your email address) and a unique password to be used to gain access to your application and you can APPLY NOW

If you haven't made an inquiry, or haven't received a username and password yet, you may sign up for a new acccount by clicking Here. Once you compete this form it may take a few hours for your ID and Password to be emailed to you.
