NASPA Undergraduate Fellow Program (NUFP)

NASPA is one of the leading national associations for the advancement of the student affairs profession. At the University at Albany, student affairs professionals are part of the Division of Student Success.

For almost twenty years, NASPA has supported an Undergraduate Fellow Program (NUFP) which exposes undergraduate students to the field of student affairs and higher education administration. The mission of this program is to increase the number of historically disenfranchised and underrepresented professionals in student affairs, including but not limited to those of racial and ethnic-minority background; those having a disability; and those identifying as LGBTQ.

UAlbany is an active participant in NASPA’s Undergraduate Fellow Program. Our NASPA Fellows are highly motivated student leaders who partner with a mentor in order to benefit from an internship-like experience in a Student Success department that exposes the fellow to career opportunities in student affairs.
