What is RecycleMania?

From now until April 7th UAlbany will compete against colleges and universities throughout the nation to see which institution can recycle the most!

YOU can help us win, and help the environment!

Separate your recyclables from trash and fill up the bins located on your quad and around the podium:

For paper and cardboard: "if it tears, recycle it." Don't recycle used tissues, napkins, paper towels or anything with food on it. Anything put into a recycle bin that isn't recyclable contaminates the bin and means we have to throw it all out!

Look for recycling containers everywhere on campus!

Let's WASTE the competition:

Boston College, UMBC, Bucknell, Stony Brook, Binghamton, Brown, Harvard, Yale, Villanova, and over 100 other schools!

Each week we report how much we've recycled and we're ranked based on our size against the other schools. You can track our progress online at recyclemania.com.
