Staff from Community Standards is available for consultation on issues related to student conduct and student behavior by calling 518-442-5501 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Consultation will help you determine if a code has been violated as well as provide you with the various options available to resolve the situation. If a conduct code was violated, you will be instructed on the process for making a student conduct referral.
In some cases, a consultation will yield a referral to Student CARE Services and the University's Behavioral Intervention Team which works out a plan to resolve student behavioral issues for which the referral process may or may not be appropriate.
Community Standards also provides customized trainings on these and other topics. Staff will work with you to tailor a presentation or training to your specific audience.
