Operations Staff

The Student Association is supported by a group of dedicated operations staff including a Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Operations, Administrative Assistants, Ticket Window Staff and Summer Staff. Director of Operations

  Julie St. Amour-Glass - I began working in this office as a student and my experiences as a student and a student employee convinced me that this was the place for me to call home. As the Director of Operations at Student Association I am one of a handful of non-student staff. Part of my job is to provide support and continuity through the years to the elected student leaders.

Among other things, my office processes disbursements, payroll, helps to oversee the Administrative Assistants and the Ticket Window, and the dissemination of massive amounts of information, provides assistance in conjunction with the Comptroller to group Presidents and Treasurers managing their SA-funded budgets, and prepares material for auditor review. I also serve on the Dippikill Board and oversee reservations made. Please stop by any time with any questions you may have about SA.

Assistant Director of Operations

  Kellen Crawford - I graduated from UAlbany with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics and have been working at the Student Association since I was a student. As the Assistant Director of Operations I help oversee the daily operations of the Student Association office, including Dippikill Reservations as well as manage the student run ticket window. I also support the different officers with their various needs, as well as assist student groups in any way that I can. Our main goal is to support the students and my door is always open- please stop by with any questions! I will be leaving for maternity leave in September but Christine Lewandowski will be stepping in to fill my shoes while I am gone :-)

Summer Staff

  Alero Opuogen - Campus Involvement: Albany State University Black Alliance (ASUBA) as committee member, became Public Relations Chair for the 11-12 year, and will be President of ASUBA for the upcoming 2012-2013 year. Active member of the SUNY Albany Chapter of the NAACP

  Kailey McGarvey, Senior - Campus Involvement: Along with working with the fabulous people in SA, I am an executive producer and director of the field reporting program at Albany Student Television. I am also an intern in the media and communications department at the University.

  Melissa Schwimmer, Junior - Campus Involvement: I am involved in Intramural soccer, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity , SA senate and any community service the school offers to me, or that I can get my hands on!

  Jacob Greenberg, Sophomore - Campus Involvement: Earth Tones, L'chiam, and Hillel. I also teach at a local sunday school and I am a Youth Director for a youth group.
