Office of the Vice President

Bryant Barksdale is a senior majoring in History with a concentration in American History and a minor in Political Science. Before transferring to UAlbany, Bryant attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College, and graduated in May of 2008 with an Associate's Degree in General Studies. He was also selected by a committee of faculty and students to be the class speaker at commencement.

Bryant was elected to represent Alumni Quad as a living area senator for the Student Association at the start of his junior year. He was the Ranking Member of the Committee on Rules and Administration before eventually taking over as the Acting-Chair. He also briefly served as the Acting-Chair of the Senate during the Senate's transition, overseeing the election of the new Chair of the Senate. Bryant was involved with the SUNY Student Assembly as a voting delegate, and attended both the fall and spring conferences representing UAlbany and voting on issues that affected all SUNY campuses.

Bryant looks forward to working for all the students, and his office is always open if a student has a concern or question. Please feel free to stop by or send him an e-mail.
