Department of Marketing

Laura Colodner is a senior this year at SUNY Albany. She is majoring in communications with a double minor in business and history.  Prior to coming to work for the Student Association in Fall 2010, she has been involved in a couple on campus organizations. She is currently an active member and social chair for Pi Sigma Epsilon, a national marketing fraternity. Also, she was the recruitment chair for Alpha Epsilon Phi, a national sorority in the Fall 2009 semester and 'Pi Chi' a panhellenic counselor in Spring 2010. She has organized numerous events as a volunteer intern for Some Girls Boutique on and off campus during her junior year, expanding her knowledge in marketing and advertising. In Fall 2010 she was the Assistant Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Marketing department of the Student Association. She was responsible for typing up press releases for on campus and local media outlets. She organized numerous events particularly dealing with UAlbany Veterans and the Center For Family and Youth, expanding the Student Associations 'SA Cares' campaign. She aspires to continue working in a communicative field that enables her to reach out and build relationships with others.
