Student Handbook Cover Design

The cover design of this edition of the student handbook was created by Christopher Bernal, class of 2012. In the Spring of 2009 Christopher won the first Student Handbook Cover Contest. All students were invited to submit designs for this handbook cover and a total of fourteen unique creations were put forward. Four finalists were selected by the student handbook committee and then voted on by members of the UAlbany community via the Spirit Zone (www.albany.edu/studentevents). Christopher received $250 in podium money on his SUNYCard for his wining design. The three runner-ups received $50 in podium money; they were William Canova 2012, Adam Fahrenkopf 2011, and Kari Savage 2012. All contest submissions captured the true spirit and creativity of UAlbany students!
