October 2014

Dear Colleagues,

Dean Katharine Briar-LawsonI am so pleased to welcome our new and returning students and new faculty members for the 2014-2015 academic year. We have lots of news to share, including updates on our School’s initiatives, research grants, and achievements. We also have exciting news about our faculty, students, and alumni. You may have heard that I plan to transition out of the Deanship at the end of the academic year. After more than 15 years of “Deaning” with a wonderful faculty, staff, student body and alums, I now look forward to helping support a new Dean! I will remain on the faculty of our School. The search for a new dean is being planned and I will stay on as dean until a new dean is appointed..

My best wishes to you all.
