Based in the School of Social Welfare, New York State Department of Health certified Navigators assist individuals in signing up for health insurance through the New York State Marketplace. Our Navigators help individuals and families by taking the time to answer all of your questions exploring all of your health insurance options and helping you to enroll in the best health insurance plan for your health care needs.There are many affordable, good, health insurance options for everyone!
The Navigators are available 7 days a week at convenient locations in Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, and Schenectady Counties and can schedule appointments based on an individual's availability. The help is free and conveniently located in the community and on-campus. Small Business and Not for Profits
Small businesses and not for profits can also apply to gain coverage for their employees. Tax credits are available to employers with a certain level of contribution. However, there is no minimum contribution that is mandatory if as an employer you want to be sure your employees have coverage. Many plans and options are available.
