Poster Presentation Guidelines
The poster board will accommodate presentations that are 3 feet high and 4 feet wide. You will be assigned one poster board for each abstract that has been accepted. Please indicate the title and author(s) of your presentation on a title board affixed to the top of your poster. The lettering should be large enough to be seen from a distance (approximately 1-1/2 inches high). We will number your poster and that number will correspond with the printed program abstract number.
Please keep written and illustrated materials simple. All illustrations should be developed and printed prior to the presentation. All illustrations and written materials must be readable from a distance of several feet. Charts, graphs, drawings, etc, should be similar to those used in making slides but should be more heavily drawn. All lettering should be approximately 1 inch high for minor titles and ½ inch high for the remainder of the printing. Materials should be mounted on paper or poster board that can be easily affixed to the poster board area with standard pushpins provided by the University.
We encourage authors to have materials available in the form of a handout and that contact information is provided with handouts materials to facilitate follow up on your presentation by participants. Please bring approximately 30-50 copies of handouts and/or be prepared to respond to email requests after the conclusion of the conference.
At least one author should be in attendance at each poster during the poster sessions. Please remove your materials from the poster board immediately after the session. Materials left on the board after the conclusion of the session will be discarded.
