International Practice Research Symposium

Welcome to the International Practice Research Symposium page.

To honor the late William J. Reid and help stimulate high quality practice research in social work, the University at Albany School of Social Welfare will host an International Practice Research Symposium on June 1 – 2, 2005 in Albany, NY. The meeting will feature research studies on social work practice, methodological advances for practice research and evaluation, and state-of-the-art summaries of the evidence for practice effectiveness in selected areas. It will be an opportunity for developing partnerships and capacity building among key stakeholders.
