Introduction

Kristin's background in higher education access, recruitment, and enrollment dovetailed with her experience as a crisis-intervention Emergency Room and Pediatric social worker honed skills related to mental health, child welfare, trauma, sexual assault and end-of- life grief and loss.  Kristin has a special interest in staff education practices and policy development at the organizational level.  Kristin has served as a field instructor for B.S.W and M.S.W students and assisted with the coordination and progression of a field education program to support students in a field site setting.  During Kristin's time in the M.S.W program, she served as a graduate assistant and is now, glad to be "returning home" to provide the professional support to students that she was afforded during her studies at the University.
