Foundation for Healthy Living

Best Practices for Obesity  Prevention Program

Served as consultant providing advice on designing specific evaluation projects, providing analysis and reports on survey data which included pediatrician counseling on BMI, physical activity, nutrition, and TV time.

Kids Are Runners Too (KART)

Provided evaluation of survey data for this program at three different stages-baseline, interim, and final.

NYS DOH Division of Nutrition

Serving as consultant to the NYS Division of Nutrition to assess the data systems they currently use for evaluation for additional function to find opportunities with these programs and monitoring systems for additional program and research grants.

NYS DOH Division of Chronic Disease Prevention

Weight Status Surveillance: NYS School Children
Provide technical assistance on this project for sample design, data collection, quality audits, analysis, and reports.

Orange County Dept. of Health

Providing assistance in data analysis for Department’s Community Health Assessment.

Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Services

Provided assistance in the needs assessment for its Federal Community Health Center PHS 330 award and in the grant application to the NYS DOH for leadership of a 9 county regional coalition to improve self-management of pediatric asthma. Serving as consultant for evaluation of coalition activities in health care and community-based settings.

Schenectady Inner City Ministry

Providing support for evaluation of its program "Spiritually sound, physically fit," which is being conducted in 5 congregations and is funded by the NYS Health Foundation.

To Life! Inc.

Provided assistance in preparation of a grant application to the NYS DOH for breast cancer education community-based demonstration projects.
