- Convocation for the new academic year is on Friday, September 30th, 10:30am-12:30pm in the SPH auditorium. The topic is "Health Effects from Ground Zero", with presentations from staff at the New York State Department of Health and the WTC Health Registry. - SPH GSO will be hosting a Movie Night showing "And the Band Played On" in the East Campus Auditorium next Friday, September 23 at 4:30 pm. Guest Speaker Carol Stenger, Coordinator of Health Promotion for UAlbany, Director of Project SHAPE - SEXUAL HEALTH AND PEER EDUCATION will be presenting.

- The Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy is hosting a Special Panel Discussion Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 12:30 pm at the Arthur Levitt Executive Conference Room, Downtown Campus. For more information, please check here.

- Dr. Edward Hannan and colleagues recently published "Long-Term Outcomes of Coronary-Artery Bypass Grafting versus Stent Implantation" in the New England Journal of Medicine. The article and accompanying editorial are in the May 26, 2005 issue, accessible at this link.
