| Some tips for finding housing in
the Albany area: |
Many apartments will become available
and signs will be posted in
the window of the building, so sometimes the best
option is to identify a small section of the city
and walk. |
If one has a car then you can choose
to live on the outskirts of the
city. The apartments tend to be less expensive. |
| Go to the place before you agree to
check it out! Don't waste your time with appointments
in areas where you would not feel comfortable living.
Check out the areas first, then inquire. |

| The Albany
Times-Union usually will list the options closest
to downtown. |
| The University also has an off-campus
housing web site, though it is sometimes more
appropriate for undergraduate students. |
