Healthcare consumers are increasingly dependent on the Internet for information about personal health and quality data to make better and more informed health care decisions. Through the NYS Health Accountability Foundation, IPRO's efforts serve to promote transparency in health care and to provide information of use to consumers in making health care decision. Join us for a discussion of the Foundation's 2006 Health Care Report Card, and learn more about recent activities across the country that are promoting the trend to empower healthcare consumers, the data and tools available to consumers, how consumers use the information when making healthcare decisions, and the implications for providers.
